This past week Orlando Weekly Magazine approached us to be a t-shirt sponsor for Artlando 2014!! What is Artlando? It’s a concept art show hosted by O’Weekly showcasing mixed forms of art from local artists, performers & craft vendors. The title…ONE DAY. ONE FESTIVAL. ALL ART. Pretty awesome!! For the event promos…The Orlando Weekly’s creative department sent us their artwork to produce high quality promotional t-shirts for Artlando. We decided to go with a premium 60/40 ring spun cotton/poly T- Shirt printed with a super soft hand premium white plastisol. This option gives the finished product a soft, smooth and bright opaque white print. We use special techniques & additives designed to print without making the print super thick or “un-breathable”. As an extra spiffy, we added a custom inside printed tag to help enhance the branding of the event and make the shirt that much more collectable! Even in a pinch & with a shorter notice than we generally prefer, the HS team came through in a big way once again! Along with being the official t-shirt sponsor and printing your next favorite Atlando T-Shirt, we also donated promotional craft bags we thought the Orlando art community would appreciate.
Whats so unique about these craft bags? They are one of a few new 100% Eco friendly options we are promoting! In our screen printing production department; We normally reclaim as much left over ink as possible from used screens during the job breakdown process. We mix the used inks in one container and let it collect for reuse on printed boxes, “Green Promo T’s” or sometimes just random acts of creativity with various medias we’ve reclaimed in our shop. In this scenario, we mixed the reclaimed inks down and added curable catalyst to bring it to the viscosity of a poster or paper print ink and then printed it on a 100% recycled (95% post consumer recycled) paper craft bags and came up with 295% of awesome sustainable giveaway!! With an earthy looking color,a simple art deco design and a collectible event print, this idea may even be worthy of 300%!! Check it out at the event this weekend and let us know what you think!
