Gel Print Special Effect

This vibrant Hittn’ Skins “CREATIVE” tee is a perfect example of how gel special effect inks can elevate a design from bold to unforgettable. Printed on a bright orange cotton blank, this piece uses a multi-stage printing process that layers a smooth gel medium over a rich gradient blend of fluorescent yellow and green plastisol inks. The result is a high-gloss, dimensional finish that catches light and reflects color with an almost liquid-like shine.

Gel ink differs from standard plastisol by creating a thicker, glassy surface that adds both depth and texture to the print. When applied correctly — as it is here — it gives a durable, flexible coating that enhances color saturation and resists cracking or fading. The lettering’s reflective sheen contrasts beautifully against the matte black type above and below, while the orange garment provides an energetic base that ties the whole design together.

This print perfectly showcases Hittn’ Skins’ technical mastery in specialty printing — blending precision, creativity, and innovation into wearable art that turns heads indoors and out.
